Livewire takes a look at the new albums from Rabit and Skindred. Now I won’t lie, when I first heard this album, I had no idea what to make of it. I have since discovered that this odd noise is referred to as “industrial beats.”. On first impression, the album sounds like a soundtrack to every potential situation you wouldn’t want to find yourself in.

Music fans are waiting to hear if Sam Smith will be recovered in time to perform at the Big Weekend and Thetford after a vocal-cord haemorrhage. The Grammy award-winning singer has cancelled the rest of his Australian tour after doctors discovered the haemorrhage. Smith is due to perform in Norwich on May 24 and at Thetford Forest on July 3.

Hello!

I'm Eleanor. I'm in my final year at the University of East Anglia reading English Literature with Creative Writing.

The first time my work was published I was 16. I wrote a few pieces for my local paper, and quickly realised that my greatest passion, writing, could give me a career I would absolutely love and excel in.

A few years on, and after a lot of hard work, I secured my place at UEA. Having studied a module in journalism, and undertaking a lot of work experience, I am absolutely certain that this is the career for me.

Journalism combines every aspect of life I enjoy. Meeting new people, travelling, and being at the forefront of the events of the world.

I've so far written for two national papers, the Eastern Daily Press being the largest local publication in the country.

I've also written a lot of online content, alongside writing my own blog.

Unfortunately I couldn't upload all of my work to this Pressfolio, but take a look at some of my work.
